Results from RC drilling are expected in September

Arrow Minerals Ltd (ASX:AMD) has extended its Dassa gold discovery in Burkina Faso to a strike length of 5 kilometres after a 235-hole auger sampling program.

The sampling targeted the southern extension of the discovery, expanding the known gold-bearing strike length from 3 to 5 kilometres.

Shares have been as much as 30% higher this morning to 1.4 cents.

“Dassa continues to grow”

Arrow managing director Howard Golden said: “The Dassa project continues to grow as we proceed with RC and auger drilling.

“These auger results constitute an important extension to our drilling target and increase our confidence that Dassa has great potential to produce a continuous mineralised zone of significant strike length.

“We look forward to reporting assay results from the ongoing RC drilling program in September.”
