Vranso Gold Project

The Vranso Project comprises an 85 km long block of exploration permits in the prolific Boromo greenstone belt in central-west Burkina Faso. The block has an area of over 1,300 km2 and consists of four 100% Arrow permits and five permits in joint venture with Trevali Mining of Canada. The area sits within the prolific Boromo Belt that hosts the Poura, Batie West and Bissa gold mines along a highly favourable structural corridor. Within the Vranso permit package, known gold mineralisation includes the Dassa, Divole East, Poa and Guido advanced gold prospects.

The Vranso Project, located 100km west of the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou, extends Arrow’s exploration tenure to an uninterrupted 85 km along the main NE-SW trending Boromo shear zone. The project sits within Paleoproterozoic greenstones where there is a documented relationship between regional scale structural zones, such as the Boromo Shear Zone, and gold mineralisation. Arrow is now in the unique position of evaluating a continuous 85km of a known regional structural shear zone to identify local scale structural focusing of gold mineralising fluids.
